With the drivers already having an hour of running behind them this morning, lap times were expected to fall and the field was expected to bunch up more.
It was yet another issue free session for the majority of the grid with running so far being very clean, something that will probably change when the drivers try and push the limits of the car during qualifying.
The #8 Team Abba Racing Mercedes-AMG of father-son duo Richard and Sam Neary ended the session fastest overall, beating the #22 Balfe Motorsport Audi R8 of Shaun Balfe and Adam Carroll.
In third was the #6 Ram Racing of Ian Loggie and Jules Gounon, who were only 0.176s of the leaders, but 0.216s clear of fourth place #72 Barwell Motorsport.
Ending the session in fifth place was #2 Team Rocket RJN of Simon Watts and James Kell.
In the GT4 class, it was the #48 Toyota Gazoo Racing UK Supra of Tom Edgar and Jack Mitchell that finished top of the class throughout the session, but they were only 0.0012s ahead of the #51 Valluga Racing Porsche of Ross Wylie and Benji Hetherington.
In third was #42 Steller Motorsport Audi of Richard Williams and Sennan Fielding, who were 0.148s further behind.
Ending the session in fourth in class was the #61 Academy Motorsport Ford Mustang of Matt Cowley and Marco Signoretti, who were 0.137s ahead of the #65 Team Parker Racing of Seb Hopkins and Jamie Orton.
